What a fun and fabulous bunch we got to work with for this beautiful Wedding! It was such an honor to be able to celebrate not only with Anthony and Ariana but their great group of friends and family.
From the moment I joined the girls up in their beautiful getting ready suite, we were surrounded by beautiful fun. Smiles, laughter, jokes. Even under the normal wedding day hustle bustle and stress, Ariana had a happy glow and an energy of anticipation exploding from her smile.
From the tears in the getting ready room, to the laughter, aaaaahhhhs and more tears on the deck for the bridal party reveal, through the heat, to the tears at the alter, to the dancing and cheers down the isle, the first dance, and finally the cake and sparkler exit, laughter and joy, smiles and contentment surrounded this beautiful couple and every moment of the day.
If the day is any indication, as I hope it is, this couple is destined for a beautiful future together. I’m not so naive to thing that a perfect wedding day leads to a perfect marriage, but the biggest evidence of joy through the whole day was the simple, beautiful glow of the love that burns in both Anthony and Arianas eyes when they look at each other.
It wasn’t just because they were having a blast. But in the quiet moments, out away from the music and the party, when it was just the three of us, that is where I saw the real love and joy. That is where I had the privilege of capturing the sweet smiles that couldn’t have gotten any bigger than they were! In his look that said “I treasure you” and her look that said “I trust and respect you.” It’s in those moments, the true joy of the day shines. It’s those moments that tell me “This is it” they got the real thing. It is those moments that even the clouds and the water seem to whisper the words from Song of Solomon “I have found the one my soul loves.”
Anthony & Ariana – I knew from the first moment I met you at your engagement session there was something deep and real about your love for each other. This special day just confirmed it over an over. Believe me when I say, not everyone shares the depth of love, passion, admiration, and respect that you share with each other each time you look into each other’s eyes. Even on their wedding day. What you have is special. Different. A treasure. You have found more than love for each other, you have found respect and contentment. It’s as if everything within each of you knows. “This is where I belong – with you.”
I truly hope and pray that each and every day of your life from here on out together will confirm and fertilizers that truth and that no matter what comes, you will cling to each other, weather any storm, and come out stronger for it.
