So we MIGHT have gone a little overboard on our time tonight. But it was NOT MY FAULT!!! I mean come on! Look at these guys! They looked ABSOLUTELY AMAZING and I just couldn’t stop shooting!!
That’s my story and I’m sticking to it. Because it’s the TRUTH!!
From the moment I walked up to Jeff and Amanda I knew it was going to be a great session.
Not because of the light, the location, their outfits, the fact that they are beautiful people, or the weather. I knew it was going to be a great session because of the way they looked at each other.
I have worked with a lot of couples over the years and have found there is a lot to be said without saying a word.
From the first moment to the last moment, I saw not just love in Jeff’s eyes when he looked at Amanda, but admiration, enjoyment, laughter, respect, and caring.
That is great right? but what make it truly special is that I saw all those same things in Amanda’s eyes when she looked at Jeff. They truly had a sweet special chemistry, even with all the hassle and torture I put them through in order to get the images below. By the end of the session, no matter what they were feeling towards the session, they were champs! and it was still as if I wasn’t even there.
They of course would look at me and listen to prompts I gave them, but I hope you can truly see the difference in their eyes and their faces when they went from looking at me, to looking at each other. It truly was like fireworks and sparkles exploded every time, and everything around them disappeared.
That is what made this session an amazing session.
Jeff & Amanda-
Thanks y’all for bearing with me! Hopefully it will be worth it!
I truly enjoyed getting to be with y’all. I am SO happy for you and I pray that as you continue to walk out your engagement and celebrate your marriage in the fall that this spark between you never stops glowing. There may be storms, there may be wind, there may even be people that come along and try to snuff it out out of jealousy and spite, but hold on. Keep holding on. No matter what comes your way. I don’t agree that love is ALL you need. Communication is greatly important in every way. But in a way, I DO agree that love is all you need. Love for God and love for each other is truly what makes or breaks a relationship, whether marriage, family, or friends. If we can JUST hold on to God’s love and allow that to run through us to everyone around us, keep that on the forefront of our mind when the going gets tough, instead of throwing in the towel and giving up, we can conquer anything. ANYTHING. Just hold on.
1 Corinthians 13 (KJV with substitution of “love” for “charity”) says “[Love] suffereth long, and is kind; [love] envieth not; [love] vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; rejoiceth not in iniquity but rejoiceth in the truth; beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. [Love] never faileth…and now abideth faith, hope, [love], these three; but the greatest of these is [love].”
It’s not always easy to love like that. But its worth it. More than that, it’s necessary, because if we do all except one, is it really love? if we are patient and kind but we keep record of everything someone does wrong… is it really love?
You guys have everything it takes. I truly pray that your love will not just continue, but grow deeper and stronger as you walk life together. And even be contagious and splash over everyone around you!
It definitely splashed over me 🙂
