These photos make me cry. I’m going to start this blog off with a throw back to a very special previous session I had with Tayjah. See it here.
Our first session together was such a sweet and special session. It was also a little bittersweet because 1. Erin was away serving our country with the Marines and couldn’t be there for the first session and 2. Early on in the pregnancy, while waiting excitedly and expectantly for their first sweet baby girl to arrive, Erin & Tayjah got some news that no parent wants to hear. There were some complications.
That being said. That sweet little angel showed OUT and showed just how great our God is!
The Dr’s didn’t expect the pregnancy to go to full term.
But it did.
The Dr’s didn’t expect the baby to make it through the birthing process.
But she did!
The Dr’s didn’t expect her to make it through the first day.
She did!
And her first week.
And even with multiple procedures and surgeries, her first MONTH!
It even looked like that sweet baby girl may even get to go home!
But through the ups and downs, God ultimately decided that she was just too precious and special to stay here on this crazy earth with us.
He couldn’t wait to have her up in Heaven with Him.
So after 2 and a half miraculous months of fighting and spending sweet time loving on her sweet parents, that sweet little angel so many of us had fallen in love with through photos and videos, flew to the arms of her maker.
There she is now enjoying life with no pain, no tears, no need to fight, just enjoying the love, peace and presence of God surrounding her every moment of every day.
Of course, though she is now in her glory, the hole she left behind even after her short time on earth was felt by a large circle of family and friends, and especially by her parents.
Somehow, even through the pain and the sorrow and the difficulty of the times I watched as Erin and Tayjah were SO strong, and trusted God every step of the way, choosing to thank Him for every blessing that came out of the time they didn’t even expect to have with their sweet baby girl rather than let bitterness and anger overtake them at what they lost.
I don’t know how to explain just how strong and resilient and wonderful this sweet couple truly is. And now to watch as they anxiously await the arrival of another sweet little baby girl, with no complications in sight! It truly is SO exciting and such an honor to get to celebrate with them!
Despite the cold COLD wind chill, they were SUCH champs and I can’t WAIT to meet this precious baby!!
Erin & Tayjah – Thank you so much for trusting me again to capture such a sweet and wonderful time in your lives. I’m so glad we got to take a few moments to capture and celebrate this little rainbow baby just like her big sister.
You both are an inspiration to me. To go through all that you have gone through and keep a smile on your face Tayjah especially when no one would have faulted you for hiding away in a hole for a while. You instead continued to lift your praise and love to God through the ups and the downs the ins and the outs.
I am SO excited for you that your faithfulness and your wait have been rewarded with just a special blessing and before you know it you will be welcoming another little angel into your arms!
I pray that the arrival of this sweet child will bring you more joy and love between you as a couple and you as a family than you ever could imagine. That God would use her to draw you both closer to Him and closer to each other. That the joy would go deep and the love would run strong. I have said it already but I will say it again. I truly can not wait to celebrate with you and see all that God has in store for you!
