Have you ever watched couples as they walk down a busy sidewalk, sit in a restaurant or cafe, make their way through an airport, or stroll through a park?
Some you watch and think hmmmm, business associates? or married couple? I wonder how they feel about each other? Are they married?
Others its quite obvious if they are married or not, and sometimes how they feel about each other, good or bad.
Then there are those couples that you see that make you smile. You see them and think ahhhh they are in love. No question about it. Whether it’s the way they hold each others hands, the way they look into each others eyes, or something else, you just KNOW they are in love.
Robert and Ilene are one of those couples. The whole session was so sweet! I didn’t want to stop shooting! I could have gone on for hours but they had more important things to do for sure!
It was so refreshing and such an honor to get to work with them each and watch them just simply love. Did I mention how EASY of a session it was?! just look at them! sometimes you can make it seem as if two people love each other and place a little fire in their eyes for the camera, but when you get two people like this in front of your lens, theres no hiding the fire! I couldn’t make these two beautiful people look out of love if I tried!
That my friend THAT is what I want people to think of me. I left this session inspired. Not to love my husband any deeper than I already do (I can’t imagine loving him any more than today yet I know when tomorrow dawns I will find myself more in love with him than I am today) but to be that couple that just glows with love for each other (and let me tell you, thats sometimes a challenge when you’re juggling and chasing a 2 year old and a 1 year old wherever you go!) But mark my word. I have taken on the challenge. I am going to be intentional about not just BEING in love with my husband but sparkling so much that no matter where we go our love for each other shines. Whether out of our eyes, our touch, our interaction, our laughter, or whatever else they see, I want it to splash on other couples the way Robert and Ilene’s love splashed on me. I want it to be encouraging, challenging, and inspiring to other couples to share their love with others in the same way.
