I’m really not sure how to go about doing this session any justice with this post. If I am being completely honest, I would be willing to shoot this sweet darling couple over and over again. The love and chemistry that they share is so sweet and contagious. It made shooting an absolute joy! and selecting my favorite images extremely hard because I loved them all! This was also a very VERY special session for me since Beth (and Joey, but especially Beth) are very special people in my eyes. See, if you don’t know Beth, Beth has a very special God given super power. She sees things no one else sees. She sees people like no one else sees people. She has this crazy ability to see people for who they really are and appreciate them and make them feel like they are the most beautiful, most talented, sweetest, most valuable people on the face of the earth. Both Beth and Joey are always smiling, always in a good mood, always looking at the positive side of things and always looking to encourage people any way they can. You see, this may all sound like just sweet words but the way Beth sees people is from the inside out because she sees people with her ears, her hands, and her heart, but not her eyes. So when Beth gives a hug and says “you look beautiful today” or ” you’re so cute” it hits a place in your heart that not many people touch. In those moments Beth reminds be a lot more like God than most people dream of. The Bible says man looks on the outward, but God looks at the heart. Likewise, others look at the outward but Beth looks at your heart. And somehow still, with all that life has thrown at her, and as many opportunities as she has to complain or be down or look at the hard things in life, she doesn’t. She stays thankful, positive, and even goes a step forward to help and uplift those around her any way she can. She truly is an amazing person. In addition, to see the way her husband looks at her, treats her, cares for her, treasures her, speaks of her, and how they light up each others worlds, there is not a question in my heart that these two are two of the sweetest, happiest, most in love and most blessed people I know.
Joey and Beth, I truly can NOT express how much of an absolute honor and blessing it was to be able to take these images for you. I pray from the bottom of my heart that the love and light and joy you have in your eyes for each other only grows and deepens and intensifies as you walk through your second decade of marriage. I can not wait to see what God has planned for you!
