When I say I enjoyed this session, I mean I ENJOYED THIS SESSION!!
It was SUCH a joy to meet this sweet family and get to work with them! It’s not every day that I get to work with a family so full of energy, joy and love!
Not only that but this family is full of people who have dedicated their life to giving their life for the help, health, and protection of others. Not only those that wear the uniform, but having worked on a military base for 11 years, I know the sacrifice and work and support it takes to keep things going at HOME when your spouse is on the front lines of both our country and our health care force. Medical personnel may not be gone for 6 months at a time, but being gone day in and day our, rotating shifts, giving all you have to your work and your patients is its own category of sacrifice.
It truly was SUCH an honor to give a small insignificant little something back to such wonderful and sacrificial people.
Just because you and I may not wear a uniform as Yaris’s children do, doesn’t mean however, that you can’t give as well. Sometimes being the right person at the right place at the right time may not feel like its bringing world peace, but it may mean the world to the person you are there for.
Never underestimate the power we have to brighten a day, bring hope and encouragement, lighten a burden, and change a life. Even just a smile can save a life if its used at the right moment.
So whether you wear a uniform or not, make it your goal to change the world around you, and you never know how big of a ripple one of those little pebbles will make in the ocean of life.
Yaris- Thank you SO much for finding me and allowing me the high privilege of working with you and your beautiful family of Heros. You are a Hero yourself for bravely raising these 3 beautiful children through all of life’s ups and downs. I can tell 100% that you are overflowing with joy and pride for your family, and you have every right to do so! (I would be worried if you weren’t!)
Thank you for the sacrifice and love you have put into each and every one of your children in teaching them to pour out into the world around them.
I hope and pray that though miles separate each of you, no matter where you are that your love will continue to be strong and span the miles and the sands of time to warm your heart and encourage you to hold on and keep conquering the world one day at time.
I know you heard it a million times, but believe me – Y’ALL WERE FABULOUS! I truly hope its not the last time I get to work with each of you!
leave some love:
