It’s always a treat getting to work with kids, it can have its challenges but the reward is so much greater when you keep on your toes and end up with shots like these!! 🙂
Even though we had a couple tiny hurdles it was so great to get to see all these cousins together.
If there is one word that I would say about the family behind these smiling angel faces, it is resilient. Each individual family making up the larger family has had their battles to face in the last few years as many of us have. Even still, the love and strength that binds them together, supports them, and keeps them fighting strong, challenges and encourages me to suck it up and just keep fighting when I feel I’m up against a wall (which generally really ends up to be the equivalent of a lego block on the floor in front of me)
Philippians 4:13 came to mind while working on this session.
“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”
Sometimes we decide we can do it on our own. Other times we decide we just can’t do it at all and give up. And still other times thankfully we realize that if we ADMIT we can’t do it on our own, but we know that GOD is able to do ANYTHING, surrender to HIM, and HE gets us through.
These smiling faces are the proof that when the going gets tough we CAN keep going- WITH GOD.
No matter what it looks like at the moment, He will always get us through because HE doesn’t lose.
It may not always be easy, but rest assured, in the end, if we stick with God, we will win because HE always wins!!
Fred & Melissa – Thank you SO much for having me do these photos. It was such a sweet session for me to do since you don’t always have the opportunity to have ALL your kiddos in one place! They really did do FABULOUS!
Thank you also for being an inspiration to me! You guys are fantastic and your strength and resilience no matter what is an encouragement to more than just me.
I pray that as you look at these images you will continue to find strength and encouragement through the faces looking back at you as a testimony of all that God has done, is doing, and is going to do in your family and through each of these beautiful faces in the next generation.
